I have been working across video, image abstraction, writing, 3D art, and visual effects in the past 2 years. I find my approach to art to be very similar to how I would approach a puzzle. Finding fragments, textures, and motion to create a composition that makes sense visually before understanding the image as a whole. This process allows me to create art freely without worrying about narrative as much in the image creation process. Saving understanding of my work to be an ephemeral act that happens in retrospect. This allows me to return to the same piece and see it in a new light without being overly concerned with meaning.
